Bridlington HUB Launch

People living in Bridlington can now take advantage of more convenient GP and other healthcare appointment times at weekends.

The East Riding of Yorkshire Improving Access service is now offering appointments from the Wolds View Primary Care Centre in Bessingby Road. People will be able to see a GP on Saturday mornings and other healthcare professionals such as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or a physiotherapist on Sunday mornings. Improving Access is not a walk-in or emergency service, appointments are for routine care only and must be booked in advance by patients through their own GP practice.

Service Manager Alison Tite said:

“We are delighted to be able to offer appointments in Bridlington and have plans in place to provide more appointments and expand the range of services we can deliver from the Wolds View site in time.

“The service now has weekend hubs across the whole of the East Riding which means that people living here can get the care they need at a time that suits them.”
