  • I work mainly in the Beverley and Harthill areas of the East Riding. I enjoy helping people access support to make progress within their life and find this role very rewarding. In my spare time I enjoy reading and walking and spending time with my family and friends.

  • I’m a social prescriber for York and Pocklington. I enjoy listening to children and young people, giving them the time and space to connect with their own inner resources, finding out what is important to them, so that they can then choose the path that feels right for them. I like to think that is an empowering process for the people I work with, physically, mentally and emotionally and I feel passionate about this way of working.

  • I am a Children and young people’s social prescriber. What I love most about this job is helping and supporting young people to gain the confidence to achieve their potential.

  • I am a purpose-driven person with a big heart for young people. I have worked with young people in various voluntary roles for over 12 years. What I enjoy most about working with young people, even now as a CYP Social Prescriber at YHP, is the opportunity to be a safe space for them. It's fulfilling to help them nurture their goals and even more rewarding to see them be in control of their lives and thrive.

  • I am a Children and Young Person’s Social Prescriber for the Bridlington area. My previous roles supporting young people with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs with amazing life changing results drives me to make a difference to many more young people. I have love for baking and eating cake, spending time with my family and enjoying the adventures that life throws my way.

  • I am a Children and Young Persons Social Prescriber Apprentice. I believe that it is important to be able to offer young people a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings. This allows me to work with them to improve their mental health and well-being. I like to crochet, read and enjoy playing online games in my spare time.

  • My role as a Children and Young Person’s Social Prescriber allows me to use my prior knowledge to support young people, based on what matters to them, whilst being an empathetic listening ear. I have a keen interest in a range of sports & I enjoy socialising with my friends & family. I love exploring new countries and experiencing different cultures.

  • I am a social prescriber working with children and young people in the Goole, Snaith, and Howden area. I provide a safe space for young people to talk and I support them in making positive changes in their lives based on what is most important to them. I love to see young people developing confidence and achieving their goals.

  • I joined Yorkshire Health Partners in November 2022 as a CYP Social Prescriber. Social prescribing is important to me as it helps young people feel more connected and provides them with tools to enhance their well-being. In my previous role I was a Mental Health Support worker for Hull and East Yorkshire Mind. In my spare time I love going to the gym and enjoying the outdoors.
